Steve A. Leja (PLS5933), President, has been providing professional surveying and mapping in the Southern California area since 1980. Steve began surveying in California full-time in 1980 working for Horton Engineering in Grand Terrace doing field surveying , office calculations, and map preparation for boundary retracement surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys.
From 1983 to 1995 Steve was the Vice President and Party Chief for Leja Engineering Inc. in responsible charge of all field work and office calculations for boundary, topographic, and construction surveying as well as related records research and deed analysis. The Firm also specialized in the surveying and preparation of court diagrams. Steve received his Professional Land Surveyors License No. 5933 in 1988 from the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
From 1995 to 2006 Steve operated as Leja Surveying , a sole proprietorship, performing many phases of Land Surveying and mapping including boundary surveys, topographic mapping, construction surveying, related deed research and analysis, preparation of legal descriptions, preparing courtroom diagrams, and testifying as an expert witness in both civil and criminal court cases.
From 2006 to present Steve has served in the capacity as President of Leja Surveying Corp as the Company continues to provide Professional Land Surveying Services throughout Southern California.
Trevor A. Leja (PLS 8869) (CFED 1565) has been surveying in California since 2002, initially part-time for Yucaipa Valley Engineering Inc and Leja Surveying and is currently acting Treasurer for Leja Surveying Corp as well as a Party Chief performing all phases of land surveying and mapping both in the field and in the office.
